Background:
High Sierra Food & Beverage, Inc. was formed on January 20, 2007 by Jim Phalan, Jeff Phalan and Gabriela Phalan to open five Firkin Pubs full service casual restaurants in Northern Nevada and the San Francisco Bay area over the next six years.   The owners bring a wealth of successful business management experience to their Firkin Pubs franchise. As of this writing, their plans are firm for Unit 1 for Carson City, NV in the heart of downtown in the historic capital city.   They plan to open two additional restaurants in Northern Nevada and two more in Northern California sequentially in August 2009, November 2010, March 2012 and June 2013.

Locations:

• Carson City, NV - the first of five pubs to be developed by High Sierra Food & Beverage with an anticipated opening in
  Fall 2007.   The premiere location is in the heart of downtown Carson City, Nevada, directly across the street from the state and capital buildings on the corner of Carson Street (US Highway 395) and 3rd Street. The legislature is in session 180 days every other year and brings heavy foot traffic past the location for this Firkin franchise. Called The Firkin & Fox, the pub will tentatively open for business in the latter half of November.  This site is particularly attractive because of its central location to a local employee base for lunch and catering, and convenience for dinner and everyday outings.  
• Reno, NV - The Firkin & Wolf will be the name of the second pub opening in Northern Nevada.
